This scene is from the novel "Republic Commando - True Colors" by Karen Traviss. Inspiration for the faces were (as always) actors Sean Bean (Skirata) and Richard Armitage (Vau).

Walon Vau just robbed the bank on Mygeeto and on his way out he crashed through the ice down into some ice caves. He was trapped there for some hours and when Kal Skirata and Ordo found him, he'd almost froze to death.

Why rob a bank? Isn't that a bit ... low for a Mando? Well... because Vau wanted justice and took his inherance, that his parents denied him all those years ago, out of their vault. And to cover up that he was the culprit, he emptied some other vaults as well. He got over 50 million Credits in total and donated most of it to Skirata's cause to give the clones a full normal life.
