Well, I drew her a bit too far up the page, thus missing her hair, so I thought why not go with an orange background? Seems to have been a positive inconvenience. ^_^

I actually really like that she's somewhat off-center, and fills the page like she does. It makes for an interesting composition (especially since it's a portrait with a solid colored background--her placement becomes more important.) But, the orange really makes her pop mainly b/c she has black and blue on her.

Haha, wow, sorry..I'm transitioning into "critique mode". Durn school. But yeah, I'm excited to see you finish.

Might want to try scanning it too, using the digital camera changes the hue of stuff.

I've found scanning it distorts the quality as well for my prismacolors too, colored pencils anyway.
