For years now, I have been plotting out an idea called "Panic in Gotham". Its an Elseworlds, fanfiction story that takes place in an alternate universe to the DCAU (DC Animated Universe) in which the heroes are all killed off in an event called "The Fall of Apokolips". With the heroes gone, Batman's contingency plan dubbed "Panic in Gotham" activates, actually calling out to various members of his rogues gallery to pick up the mantle.
Who will answer the call? Who will reign in chaos?
Right now, I have the long process of writing and drawing the book out, and when I have enough pages finished, I will begin posting them right here in my DA account. Until that happens, however, I wanted to start posting some of the main characters of the book.
Edward Nigma is, essentially, the main character. We meet Edward during a strange time in his life, retired from his life as the Riddler following the battle of his life, health wise, and see a very different side of him. He and Batman have long since buried the hatchet, and Riddler stands as the first one in line to try and become Gotham's new guardian, now the undisputed World's Greatest Detective.
Can he do it? Can he save all of Gotham City?
Well...not alone, he can't...
