OBSOLETE: Newest update in [link]An ISA Rapid Reaction Force trooper from Killzone.
Finished texturing the body and face. Moving on to headgear. Couldn't get a proper reference pic for textures, so most stuff is approximated. Hopefully, they'll be changed when I either get better at this, or someone does it for me. xD
No llamas to award? How disappointing...

Just 2 years ago you were using primitives stuck together to make a marine. Now you're actually modeling characters with textures. Awesome!

I got the leg right. I just set the the kneepads lower on the shin instead of on top of the kneecap.
Actually, I think the head is too big. I'll... make adjustments...

I don't know. It could do with some more detail, but I'm planning to port it over to BF2 and I don't want to get hung up when there's 30 of these guys running around and shooting stuff up.

Well, the highpoly should be used to make normals - best bet you got is opening the file with mudbox ( as a .obj) then create the high poly from there.
Alternatively, use the normal map creator plugin for PS, or crazy bump.
