Hey, First fleet! I was wondering if I could request a different version of this? Maybe a blue star instead? Just wondering and thanks!

Beautiful! So since the Polaris got a disco era redo to match the discoprise, might we see a disco version of the Palo Alto?

I use the ENT style Daedalus, but I might whip up my own version.

Seriously, NASA has found a volatile planet about six light years away they have named it Krypton after DC Comics planet.Β They say it is unstable with volcanoes and will likely explode.Β Scientists are some of the nerdiest nerds you will ever find.Β LOL

The Enterprise finds the real planet Krypton.
Nice pic; looks almost like a genuine photograph with those lighting effects.

I cheated with the sun, it's actually a modified NASA photo

I had sort of wondered where that came from, but it sure had me fooled; I figured it was just a well-done 3D effect. And the rest of the picture looks great as well.

That star is very impressive, I wonder if could duplicate the effect.Β As always, your models are great...

It's quite easy... it's a modified NASA photo of our own Sun.

Oh, I was thinking of creating a model star that looked like that.Β Vue has these cheesy planet images you can have it stick in the sky, which I don't really care for, they are too limited.
Then I discovered that I could make things to scale; the ships in my images have been scaled to their actual size, as have the planets and other solid astronomical objects.Β There are some issues with texture maps, but Vue also has functions that can be used to create textures which behave like fractals, no matter how close you get, they don't pixelate.Β
Anyway, I was thinking of trying one of those.

Nice work. Unlike the IPodPrise the Discoprise really isn't a bad variation on the theme.
