Uriah Noah: Hero of the Romulan War. Founder of the United Earth First Fleet. Disgraced himself because of his outspoken anti-Fwederation views. Gained new fame with his groundbreaking book "On Interstellar War"

David Metlesits: Fought in the Third Man-Kzin War and the Federation-Kzinti War. Helped the Tzenkethi during the Tzenkethi-Kzinti War. Became the Federation's first and foremost expert on both species.

Kore Thalassa: Metlesits' protegΓ©, hand-picked as his successor. Life cut short with her death during the Tomed Incident.

Uriah Noah: Used as a pawn by the forces of order against the forces of entropy. Destined to sacrifice himself against the Borg to enable their (temporary) dwonfall.

Kirsten Heimann: Noah's former XO, grand-daughter of the NCC-782's Rochus Heimann and Charlotte Ainsworth. Proved the existence of the Borg Remnant. Convicned the Tzenkethi to side with the Federation again.

Nice! Are those the mottos of the ships?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

thefirstfleet In reply to Traeumer1981 [2016-10-09 12:20:31 +0000 UTC]

No, they're actually lines from a Breaking Benjhamin song

The Polaris motto is always "I am constant as the Norhtern Star".

"Lead me to Heaven when I die..." should be the Polaris' motto if you haven't already picked one!

The official motto is I am constant as the Northern Star.

Captain-Forsyth [2016-10-08 18:47:11 +0000 UTC]

so what is the history of Polaris. is there a timeline? Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

thefirstfleet In reply to Captain-Forsyth [2016-10-08 18:49:28 +0000 UTC]

Here it is:

Timeline of the PolarisverseTIMELINE OF THE POLARISVERSE
Points to be considered
"Starship Polaris" takes place in the mainstream Star Trek universe. It features one main line and not the "pocket universe" incorporating the ENT era. I say "pocket universe" because I see ENT that way, being created by Picard's time jump in "First Contact". As "canon" for the past, I accept Masao Okazaki's timeline and starship designs.
In the following timeline, I reckon with the "sliding timeline" used by Trek, that is, modifying dates and events to fit real-world historical occurrenses. Star Trek is fiction, thus creating a fictional historical background different from ours is completely acceptable by me. I try not to contradict elements from the Trek history by creating the "past" of the Polaris-Trekverse. I might make deliberate errors to correct some canonical, though ambigous elements. Also, I attempt to create a history that can explain events such as World War III and the Eugenics Wars, as well as the rapid space explorat

Judging by his uniform and title, I'm guessing Noah died at Wolf 359. Β I could be wrong, though.

thefirstfleet In reply to FacepalmPunch [2016-10-08 17:26:18 +0000 UTC]

No, he was time-transported to WOlf 359, though. The Polaris was the one ship that survived. Later on, the ship got temp-displaced again and he died with his ship during the Supercube Crisis.
