Description
Captain Picard was always meant to be an explorer, an intellectual, and not a military man. While the Enterprise-E had to fight her way through the Dominion war and fight the Borg and the madman Shinzon, the mighty starship was always a blend of exploration and defence capabilities.

As always a very well done art piece! I loved the Enterprise-E in my humble opinion, the perfect meld of grace and strength. I really wished there had been more Star Trek The Next Generation movies featuring her. From what I understand in the end of Star Trek Nemesis E during the Enterprises refit and/or repair they were considering using the Aztec hull design for the Enterprise E were it leaves the space-dock at the end of Nemesis, with the new Aztec patterned paint job, that was so prominent with all the preceding variations of the Enterprise which would of have looked very interesting.

To be honest, I like the micro-patterns of the Enterprise-E. The original paint job. It's a good update to the classic Aztec patterning.

I bought a physical model of this girl; even unpainted, she looks nice. I'm planning to paint some of her windows with glow-in-the-dark paint and a toothpick. That'll make it look like there are lights on inside the ship.

One of my favorite starship designs: sleek, sexy and powerful. Sure gave Shinzon a run for his money. That's why I loved "Nemesis" because it showed off the firepower of the Sovereign class.

In my headcanon the Sovereign is the explorer, the fast high-performance ship that the Constitution-class was in it's era. The Galaxy-class is a city in space, a flying fortress that projects power through Federation space. Two very different ships with very different jobs to do.

The Enterprise, no matter the era, was a woman (ship) of beauty and grace who out-stretched hand of friendship brought many an alien race to a warm and welcoming group (the federation), but when it came down to it, that once welcoming hand would ball into a mighty fist, ready to fight those who threaten the federation with the most wicked right cross the galaxy had ever seen.
That is my interpretation of the Enterprise, am i wrong? lol XD
