Artist Training Ground has once again come to us. This time I'm gonna try and do it all the way to the end!Today's prompt: "draw a pony standing/drawing a pony chilling"
Figured statues are the best at just standing there, so I drew one

This looks really great for a speed paint! Did you use a separate brush for the textures? I like that she isn't completely gray, either - there's some sort of super desaturated color in there (blue? purple?), and it looks nice.

I actually did set up a little scatter brush on photoshop for the little cracks; just made a few passes with it, erased the parts that didn't fit, and called it good. And yes, the entire character is painted in a very desaturated blue.

Oh hey, the artist training grounds are back? Kinda makes me wish i could draw ponies. Or rather, i wish i had the artistic time to commit to learning to draw ponies.
I like how everything looks layered on this drawing, like you didnt just make a pony and paint it grey; you can acctually see the grooves for the lines in they eyes.
