This is a loooooooong overdue commission piece for my homeboy He is a fantastic artist and a great guy so hopefully he digs the art and can forgive the lateness of the piece...Is it ironic that I completed a drawing of the fastest man alive and turned it late?oh! and I think this is Wally West behind the mask, but I suppose he can be which ever Flash you like

Awesome job! I like the speed effect and the lightning around him. Personally, I dig the WW Flash- that was the one I was really exposed to as a comic reader

yeah, Wally is the Flash that I was exposed to most and I really enjoy the idea of him being Kid Flash then being forced into being THE Flash (and kinda being lame at first). Then really growing into being a great hero. it seems that with Barry alive that Wally is just not important. ( I am such a nerd!)

Wally will always be the Flash to me because he seemed like the kid who made it into the big league among heavy hitters, like Batman and Superman, and even when he wasn't on the JLA, he always had a sharp sense of comedy and belief of justice, sort of like how Spider-Man when he just started out: some young punk destined for greatness all while being a bit cocky, yet still lovable

Exactly! What is the deal with deaths in a comic book? Seems like the only comic that actually leaves a death PERMANENT is "Savage Dragon"- Erik Larsen even said in an interview that "dead is dead" in his comics. That's how I'm gonna be once my comic gets off the ground- the only way somebody dead would come back is in a Halloween special as a ghost or a zombie

Looks like this could be the Barry Allen Flash, given the shape of the mask and "belt" area. Either way, very cool exaggeration on the perspective.
