A while back, it was a thing for artists to draw all the versions of Ripto together. I wanted to do that too.
I loved his character and design ever since the original 1999 version, and it's amazing to see what they did with him in the Reignited games. There are actually two differently colored versions of Gameboy Ripto, but I only went with the Attack of the Rhynocs one. Then of course we have the black sheep of ETD and a very obscure twerking Ripto from a Japanese manga... Anyway, it was super fun to try out different styles! I might draw original Ripto more, who knows!

I really dig how his incarnation looks like, did in 2018. His design looks more cunning and demonic than his orginal incarnation.

Woah what the?! They made a Ripto with a twerking ass?! That....is mighty disturbing, and I can see it in (reignited) Ripto's face. He is just as disgusted!

The Ripto from Enter the Dragonfly is also mighty disturbing with those botched animations. XD The originals will always have a special place in my heart but now I accept the Reignited design for Ripto as the one true design. It's definitely my favorite design for him by far, and fits the better graphics of today.

Yeah, it's rather obscure though. I didnt know it until recently. And yep, I agree with the original holding a special place in my heart while the reignited one has the best design due to the details and, well, the fact that he actually looks like a carnivorous dinosaur now!

To be very honest, the 2018 incarnation feels much more evil than the original.

I think it's mainly because of his new features - making him actually look like a dinosaur - his wider range of expressions and slightly raspier voice. Other than that, I'd say he's much the same as the original.

The gameboy advance Ripto is probably the most adorable out of the rest. XD Reignited Ripto, I think, has the most awesome design of them all.
