Description
We then returned back to camp for lunch.
And as we arrived, we saw a Coo-Coo Bird right near one of the doorways to the building.
The camp manager said that she had accidentally flown into one of the windows and became injured. Hopefully she'll be okay.
After eating, I went down to the Hide Away lookout post at the bottom of the hill that the camp was on. It overlooked a huge scenic valley covered with acacia trees. Big mountains were visible at the horizon making the whole picture more spectacular!
A perfect place to relax and listen to the breeze blow. One thing is for sure, it is mighty peaceful out here in the Savanna. I could just stare at the environment all afternoon.
Well, I would have if I didn't spot a small herd of Impalas as well as lone Black Rhino walking by. I think that might be the exact same Rhino we saw next to the tree. I can see clearly that there were a few gashes on his right side, indicating that he might have been through an attack of some sort.
That's what makes this whole scene complete. The fact that you don't even have to put in any effort into looking for wildlife, for it is, quite literally, all around!

This is why they have thick skin. So they can withstand wounds like these. It'll probably heal up in a couple of weeks.
