Description
In mother nature, sharing is caring.............or so says Quantum and Kagome! But yes, nature will give to its creatures by growing beautiful shrubs, trees and grasses to feed on.
Then a long time later the creatures will become the grass and other plants themselves and thus completes the circle of life.
This is actually, if you want to get into my own canon, this particular Acacia tree is special to both Obi and Nuk, because this is the exact spot where they met when they were very young. I think they saw each other at the watering hole and decided to have a good snack together at this tree, (which by the way was much smaller at the time.) If it was this tall, they wouldn't be able to reach the leaves.

This is a really cute drawing. I like the lazy expression on the elephant's face, and the hyper expression on the face of the other little guy.
The background is great, too, and I really like the way that you drew the tree.
I have a bit of a picky critique, and that's that the area over where the elephant's back side is up against the edge of the page feels a little cramped to me. It feels like the drawing should have just a little more space behind him with a larger paper, or maybe putting him in a different position so that he would be cut off at a different place. How it is now, he feels squashed into the edge there.
I love everything else. Very nice. : )

Thank you, Amber!
Yeah, that was sort of the edge of the paper, I couldn't really draw anything more beyond that. But I wanted the whole elephant to be seen.
Glad you like how the rest came out though!
Thank you for your critique!

I did my best to capture the essence of the African grasslands in this picture. I guess it paid off! Thank you, Quantum!

I really like how you draw the background blue sky. It really emphasizes the scene. I'm quite a perfectionist & I like making my drawings look pretty realistic like in a photo... duh...
I would write a Critique on your work if I was good at it...
I'm not.. XD

Great proportions & textures! c:

Thank you very much, Modecom!
I always like to make a blend of color in the background to emphasize the situation or the sky itself. Most of the time it just represents the sky. But in like a style where it is darker around the edges and corners.
You don't have to critique me if you don't want to, it's fine!
Thank you, again!

I know people like critiques. It always makes them feel like someone took a good look at their work to write some feedback...
I like making people feel that way c:

I...am so proud...I had always hoped little Rocky would grow up to be successful. And look at him now...he is strong enough to support an African elephant! I just...I have no words...I think I need a minute. *Sobbing in happiness*

Thank you, K-Kopp! It really is and it really does!
My old one had a good long run, but now it's time to update.
He looks cool now with his trunk lifted up in the air and natural with the tree above.

Haha I've used this one since I started on here. I should probably make a new one too eventually, but this badly done icon represents me well enough still, I guess!

What do you mean,"Badly Done"? That is a really cool fluent animated gif of your own characters! Not that many deviants get moving icons featuring their own characters. I wish I had one myself of Obi doing a Butt dance or something!

Meh, it's just a base. I simply edited to add hair and tails kinda sloppily. Plus I've redesigned them a bit since I made it
And I'm sure there's plenty of artists you could commission to get something like that! Would be a fun icon!

Really, it's alright. Geography and location can be quite annoying.
Sitting through hours of just watching me draw, would just make you loose hours of sleep and I don't want to do that to you.
Seeing the finished outcome is more of a surprise than slowly watching it come together.
