The part 2 off 2!But seriouslly Murtagh was the only reason that I didn't walk out in the middle of the movie -.-" Even though he is my 11th favorite does not change the fact that he is a strong character and just down right awsome.

hmm...I actually thought John Macklovich made a good evil emperor, but I think Christopher Lee (Count Dooku, Ansem the Wise, DiZ) or Anthony Head (Uther Pendragon)would have made a mean Galbatorix too.
I can imagine Christopher Lee as Durza too he's just got this voice that is epic for villans.
and I know exactly eho cpuld have voiced Gladr....

Christopher Lee is awsome, he would be the perfect Galbatorix. I always thoughed it was kind of funny that in the movie Galbatorix's "palace/castle" was a cave.

I hated the movie! It was awful! Why the hell was Arya some dumb blonde damsel in distress!?!??! And Eragon was blonde! BLONDE PEOPLE! But you're right Murtagh was awesome in both! XD

same here. i thought the movie was cool before i read the book, after i read the series, i couldn't bear to finish watching the movie. although murtagh and brom are both awesome in both versions. really cool comic by the way

Good point, even thought the book isn't the greatest ever either.
But Murtagh is almost the only reason I keep reading - I want to know what happens. And what's up with him in the movie?
In the book, it was for the longest time "I can't come with you to the Varden, they'll kill me!"
In the movie, it was right away "To the Varden it is!"

Hilarious comparison. I believe everyone who read the book was rather unsatissfied with the film. I know I was except for Saphira. In the movie she looked awesome. Cheers!!
