Description
Another one of the classics, I’ve held to this design for a while and I happy I get to finally streamline it, here’s CLOCKWORK!!!
Clockwork is the Omnitrix’s DNA sample of a Chronosapien, one of the oldest species in the universe from the planet Jikan.
Abilities
- Chronokinesis - Clockwork can manipulate time around himself to achieve various effects such as accelerating time to skip events or age targets, slowing down time around him to make it look like he’s moving at high speeds, stopping time to a halt and even rewinding/looping time in his general area.
- Time Beams - He can shoot a beam of unique energy out of his hands and chest that can freeze whatever it hits in time.
- Time Travel - He is capable of time travel, but this requires extreme concentration and a lot of practice of achieving this art.
- Past/Future Projection - He can also show a projection of the past or future by turning the key on his head.
Weaknesses
- Metal Body - As he is more mechanical than biological, Clockwork is susceptible to electrical attacks to his copper body as well as electromagnetic pulses along with magnets.
- Time Altering - His ability to time travel can derail the fabric of reality if used to often, whilst he can manipulate the time stream it is very dangerous to purposefully change it as it can have serious consequences for the future.
- Slow Body - His big and heavy body makes him a slow runner.

Though honestly I really don’t get this alien that much. I mean he’s a mechanical being yet he has DNA. How exactly does that work? I mean I guess it would make more sense if he was an energy being inhabiting a robotic body, or something like that.

In my mind, the Chronosapiens are one of the oldest species in the universe, they've evolved beyond biological bodies and are not even born. They just appear in existence as a unique form of energy and create their own bodies through mechanical parts. The DNA is the energy, not the robot body (so you're right in that sense). Ben just doesn't know this.

Dude, that is clever! Some scientist hypothesize that some species in the universe could evolve into something beyond our comprehension, which sounds like what you did for Clockwork there. Also, I just love his new look. Cool unique foot design.

Yeah, adding to that, we think they are energy beings but they're actually evolved 4th or 5th dimensional entities (like the Contamelia but not nearly as powerful) that have existed since the big bang. In order to function within our 3rd dimensional Universe, Chronosapiens need to inhabit a mechanical body that other Chronosapiens (and even Galvans) have created before their "birth", and thus somewhat power the body with their own energy body, they can never leave it or they'll fade out of existence (which is the only way they can die). The metal body is also like a filter for their time powers, a stabiliser for their true forms (which is why they have so many gears and cogs underneath).
