I think she gets 'kidnapped' on purpose. Wouldn't being the crown princess of a country be so stuffy? I think everyone is in on it and orchestrated this 'chosen hero' thing so only Link would go after Zelda. I'm sure Ganon's house is like a beach house and they all hang out there for a while.

Your Zelda Ganny stuff makes me think XD;
I bet they were friends. I could see him being at the castle since she was small and talking in the courtyard and stuff. He is really intellectual, and almost sensitive, you can see that in WW. She in turn is smart, just as hungry for information, and as a princess sort of trapped in her duty. I think even if she was too immature to realize it, she was probably intrigued by him, maybe intimated or scared, but probably deeply intrigued. If the temptation of power didn't corrupt him, and he didn't feel jolted by the King and being Gerudo among snotty Hylians, I think he wouldn't have been such a 'bad' guy.
I think he treated everyone except Zelda the worst when he tried taking over, now that I think about it..
Have you ever seen 'There Will Be Brawl'? It's AWESOME. The guy they got to play Ganny is HOT and perfect. XD;; Google 'there will be brawl' and see the episodes..it's a bit dark, but it's like the world of nintendo meet the 'God father', or 'the sopranos' lol.
