so I'm not sure if I'm going to use this for my poster, I think I want something edgier.... I dont knowThe colors are WAY better in person, the yellow gets lost in this image.
my scanner broke, so this is photos pieced together. It looks funny to me, scans just look so much better. so I'm sorry it looks a little blurry. Man, I miss my scanner
By the way I just saw The Dear Hunter and Lydia last night
they both were great, it's definitely worth a listen to.

this is a little irrelevant.... but i wanted to say how weird it was to see someone talk about Lydia. my boyfriend went to high school in Gilbert with one of the guys in the band. they really are amazing, but sadly their next album is their last.
also, you are a huge inspiration to me. i love all of your art.

i really like the eyes and the hands. It's also a nice change with the hair, it's not as crazy as it sometimes is (which isn't a bad thing, i like the whispy long hair) It just doesn't take over most of the picture. Very elegant

make the sheet red so its not so bridal looking and maybe a slice of a bright color in her hair.i think she almost looks like on the those mermaids they put on the front of old ships...whatever they were called.i love how this turned out though

it might look edgier if she had wings, either devil's or angel's would work, but i'm not sure what direction you want to push this in, or whether wings would even work for those bands (i'll take a listen later.)
on the other hand, someone might call wings cliche. so i don't know, that's just my two cents.
but. THIS IS AWESOME. i don't know if you should even try to make this particular piece edgier (i don't think you were going to) because it's just so soft and innocent. my first thought was "bridal."
