that's gonna be a long fight if none of the Pokemon wants to fight the other.
Why is Chikorita pointing at himself in the first pannel? To check that 'Pecha' is indeed him? (Pecha is from Peach?)
As for the drawing in themselves, I don't think Chikorita's forepaw could looks like this (with the shoulder/omoplats thing) and I think Cindaquil's thigh (for lack of better word) should look thiner and the underbelly should show more.

Yep, he just got his name and he wasn't sure. Pecha is from Pecha berries. Silver isn't good at names. Lol.
I know his leg can't bend like that to point at himself it's just for comedic affect. It does look a bit bad though.
Are you talking about the front view? Front view is my arch nemesis. Yeah Cyndaquil is too thick now that I think about it.

I hope it'll be an enjoyable fight, even though the... fighters? protagonists? are rather low level ^^
(I won't blame Silver, I'm shit at finding names for my Pokemon ><)
And yes, I'm speaking of the front view, I know those can be hard to do, especially with Pokemon who don't quite look like animal we could use as reference.

This fight will show something that will be a problem later on for everyone. Even though Pecha is like level 10 in game during this fight. >.<
(Some of these names are like awful. I was think about a rename rule maybe.)
Even with reference it's a bit hard. I know the pain as most of my ocs often don't look like most animals. Ugh. It's even worse if you're making a character ref and want it to look perfect.

Yeah when I first drew my dragons were just ovals and noodles.
I'll get better someday... and that reminds me I have to do the sketches for the second chapter soon, I'm running out of pages fast.
