PLEASE, PLEASE COMMENT Thank youSadis story part 13
part 14 - [link]
Suns and seasons came and went by. The sky thunder and cried in the rainy times, while the flowers bloomed in summer. Sadis’s leg had healed the best it could and the scar had lightened a little, but it was not quite as strong as before. As for Simba who had changed the most by growing a mane, having a deeper voice and just getting bigger was now well suited with living the good life. Sadis still teached him many things in between Timon and Pumbaa’s games, but there was thing he was even more eager to learn. “Sadis I’m ready to learn how to fight” he strolled up to her one day. “Sorry??” she looked surprised at him. “Come on Sadis, you said when I start getting my mane that you would teach me” he said boldly. Sadis didn’t need this today, she was tried from lack of sleep and wanted to relax. “It’s not as easy as that Simba, you have to remember that I’m not a lion and the techniques I use are different” Sadis went to turn away but Simba run in front and hugged her chest “ You could just teach me the basics and make me strong, PLEASEA Sadis. What happens if I need to fight some day? Please, please!” Sadis gave a huge sigh and looked down at the teenager “I said please” Simba smiled a cheeky grin. “Ok ok win, but if I’m going to teach you, you have to work hard and start easy ok, this is not going to happen overnight” Sadis stared at him and he realised her from his claws and nodded.
The training did start very basic by just doing a lot of running and learning defence. Sadis said “ you can’t learn to fight without knowing how to defend yourself” she showed him how to miss hits and deal with smaller opponents. However the most important thing she told him was “If you do get hurt, you must not give up, just stand tall and look at the enemy dead in the eyes” Simba didn’t understand way you had to look them in the eye, but the she would say that he would never be in a situation like that as she would protect and look after him. A couple of weeks in it were time for Simba to put it into practice and fight Sadis. It wasn’t going to be real just a test run. They lunged, dodged, swung and leaped at each other. The fake fight was going well until Simba charged at the horse aiming for left leg, but Sadis whipped round and the young lion crashed into her right leg instead. Sadis yelped and fell onto her right knee. “Sadis I’m really sorry! Are you ok?” Simba whimper and was by her side. Suddenly the horse whirled her head round and clouted Simba with her thick neck, knocking him clean off his feet. The horse gave a small laugh “Never drop your guard, even when your opponent is injured, they can still fight back” Simba dropped his head “Are you ok?” he helped her to rise “I could do with a break, don’t worry Simba it wasn’t your fault” Simba sat down to clean himself while Sadis stretched out her legs. “Sadis why do you keep turning and crying in your sleep?” he said between licks. “Because I’ve been having nightmares” she replied “About what?” he asked again “About the past” Simba stopped to look at her, she was staring at the sky “hakuna matata Sadis” was all he said. Sadis could hold it in any longer, she just had to ask the lion “Simba my dear have you ever through of going back...to the pride lands... one day. You can go back you know, we don’t have to stay here forever” Simba eyes widened “Sadis you know I can’t go back! We don’t need to go back!” Sadis knew it was best to say no more, but she going to keep tying and would keep asking.
As Simba grow and grow Sadis would ask him about the pride lands, mainly in their lessons when they were alone. But every time she did he said the same thing, it was no. It troubled her a lot that he would see her way and she knew that it was only a matter of time before she took action. Sadis had a plan...
