Description
Here's that piece I did before at:[link]
I really enjoyed how it came out-- and most of you seemed to dig it, as well! So when Nate Lovett , my ever-constant partner-in-crime, offered to digi-ink and color it, I jumped at the opportunity. Thanks, Nate! I love it.
So here you go! Enjoy. And by the way:
This will be my new, featured print at Mid-Ohio-Con in Columbus, OH on October 4-5th! Swing by and pick up a copy!
Pencils by Jeremy Dale
Inks and colors by Nate Lovett

Yup. Is he swinging the sword? Oh, just walking up a hill?
So it's a moot point? Oh, okay.

No, you drew Link's sword in his right hand. It doesn't matter if he's swinging a sword or walking up a hill.

What, you thinking that if you walk up a hill, your dominant switches?

No, I'm thinking, as someone who has trained with a weapon, occasionally you may need your dominant hand for other things, so you momentarily switch. Here, he's walking up a hill. Not unheard of to grab something to help pull himself up. The point is, it's not unheard of, nor is it an exception.
LOGIC.

Or, you fucked up with the hand and can't take that someone called you out on it.

Dude-- it doesn't matter is my point. I drew it in his right hand, so what? THAT'S ALWAYS BEEN THE POINT.
Ooo, or maybe it's the Twilight Princess Link. Or, referencing the Link to the Past strat guide -- let's say he's facing west, and keeping his shield toward Death Mountain.
Point is, it was a 10 minute sketch I drew, what-- 5, 6 years ago?
It doesn't matter. For reals.
As a Southpaw myself, I always dug that Link wielded the sword in his left hand. I can't speak to what was going on at the time I drew this sketch ages ago, but I'm assuming I just forgot.
Big deal.
Have a good one!

wonderful ink lines, the impression of Link suits him and tells us: he is on a mission and it won't be easy Link is left handed though.

He is, indeed. As I mentioned in the post, this was originally just a quick sketch. Never really intended it to go fully finished in color, or I'd have addressed issues such as that one.

You're telling me he never switches hands while climbing, or if he's tired, of if someone is REALLY OVER-THINKING THIS TOO MUCH?
Yes, I am. In fact, I often notice when someone favors the left hand, as I AM LEFT-HANDED. However, I didn't draw it that way. Apologies if that doesn't please you.

I just like it when things are kept the way they are meant to be. My friends often tell me I can sound like a little bitch at times, so I'm sorry if that's how it sounded.

how long did it take you to do it, and where do you get your inspiration to draw awesome stuff like this hahaha.

In terms of the inspiration, I was just inspired playing the games. This house is Legend of Zelda fans all the way.
The sketch I did only took like ten minutes or so. It was colored by Nate from there.

Sweet. I'm like a new comer to the Legend of Zelda games, like a big time new comer so I got hooked on them from the game Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. But still, it is a pretty bad A picture of Link.
