I really enjoyed how it came out-- and most of you seemed to dig it, as well! So when Nate Lovett , my ever-constant partner-in-crime, offered to digi-ink and color it, I jumped at the opportunity. Thanks, Nate! I love it.
So here you go! Enjoy. And by the way:

This looks great! I really like the strong lines used for Link and the style he's been drawn in; the way he stands out from the softer shading in the background is a nice effect, and the pose and composition give it an engaging active feel. Great work!

Seriously, great linework and shadows! My crit would be that I think you can push the depth more by softening the edges of the mountains and tree. Maybe tinker with cooling the colors back there. All-in-all though, pretty top-notch!

I work professionally, but Nate not yet.
As for the sword-hand? Meh. He coulda changed it to scale the hill momentarily. That kind of thing is ridiculous to nit-pick on,really-- unless someone claims, say... "Link's other hand is paralyzed" or something.

Thanks! I'd love to do a webcomic down the line, but regular paid art work keeps me from it. Still, at least they just released a volume of Zelda in manga format-- very cool! Can't wait to check that out.
