May Sketch Post 3:I'm posting a few sketches I've done while warming up every day or surfing the web. Since most people don't check out the Scraps gallery I thought I'd post these here and then move them later. Enjoy!
This one is a few months old-- a minute figure sketch in pen over red pencil with Copic tones tossed over it to play with them a bit. I remember good friend Nate Lovett was visiting from Ohio and we were sketching in my studio at the time when I doodled this one. LOTS of fun. We gotta do that again soon, Nate!

Those copic markers look nice. I've been using grey prismacolor ones, and have been getting some issues when the same color overlaps itself, it makes a darker line between the two. Do I need to change my technique so I don't overlap, or do I need to get better markers?

The former, really-- I have the same problem at times-- I always attributed that to me being sloppy and all that .
