I've always enjoyed the character, and even read the series when it was pretty freakin' bad at times... The mix of Norse mythology and super hero power is just BRILLIANT.
Regarding the new outfit:
Look, I love the original as well-- but the Coipel-illustrated Thor is the best Thor we've seen in decades. DECADES. Couple that with a great costume redesign (it's not permanent, stop yer whining, aging fanboys of America), it's simply MUST-READ comics.
Did this for someone at Megacon. Enjoy it!
Geez, now I gotta draw the Warriors Three, whom I love even more than Thor...
