Description

I got started on something and just didn't have it in me to get it done today, so I went on to this. I've been wanting to do one of these for a while now.
2006 - My first fursona, on TLKFAA. Until this point, I was mainly drawing dragons, dinosaurs, and mythical creatures. Joining the Lion King Fan Art Archive helped me expand my horizons and learn about stylization and anatomical drawing. I was very blonde at this time.
2011 - I graduated from highschool and left TLKFAA behind for DeviantArt. My fursona was neglected, but showed up again in a couple drawings. I began to feel that I was outgrowing having a lion as a fursona and wanting something smaller to fit my personality.
2013 - Cougar Meek was born! It was this year that I changed my screenname from EccoGeek to TheMeekWarrior. I like the new name much better, haha.
2014 - Playing with Meek's design again, I dumped the poofy look for a lithe, darker, more natural cougar, void of eyebrows and with a cross on her forehead, and sporting a celtic cross I had bought online. Soon, however, I grew restless and changed her design again, back to having eyebrows and this time taking more artistic liberty with cougar colors and markings in mind. I gave back her bangs in the color I liked dying my hair, and I liked this design a lot more than anything else I had done with her.
Present - Over time, I refined Meek's markings to what they are today. They're not smudgy anymore, and the taupe color on Meek's back is slightly darker. My beloved necklace, made of pewter, broke sometime last summer, but I want to keep it intact on Meek.
