We have a setting we are working on where humans are vat grown and then infused with the sentience / soul of a dying / dead person, so that person can go on living.... overused trope yes, but one I find intriguing. The way the bodies were described being removed from the vats, and the vats themselves are very reminiscent of the drawing you have done (differences yes, but similar in overall aesthetics). Very cool.
