This is absolutely not what I should have been doing all day (all night/morning ;__
. She started off as just a painting of a face, intended to be a warm up, but I got a bit carried away.Β Also I've reeallly been trying to change the way I paint. For a long while I was obsessed with hard edges and I still am to a degree but I want to be more painterly and I'm happy with how this went.

She is beautiful. As a machine, a woman or simply a living being. She has an ethereal quality that should be impossible for machinery. I love the backdrop as well, the oldest of human art forms in juxtaposition with the most recent.

I love her face. She has that perfect expression of a near miss or light exhaustion as well as a little disbelief. Like she's laughing about a close call. Which is a great expression because it looks like she's just been through something that would have utterly destroyed any biological human.

I love what you've done with her face. Making her features a little softer shows a very different side of what otherwise is inhuman (and IMHO thus less relatable). I find the degree of difference to be striking, and it has made me much more interested in her as a character.

Yeah. I haven't done anything with those robots because I've been thinking a lot about them and don't want to commit to painting anything unless I know it will fit into the narrative I'm slowly making. I'll make a journal post some time in the near future getting people's crits on what I have so far

Β hmm looks like an early workings of an institute Β synth I know it has no relation to that but this is sort of what I envisioned a synthetic person world of looked like more than valentine is concerned the missing link and before they mad the Gen-3 Synths Β great work I love the detail and also 1st time i'm seeing a fem-bot that's not got ridicules breast on them makes a nice changeΒ
