I had an idea for a new kaiju universe, one that is not only set in a post apocalyptic world where nature is reclaiming human civilization after their extinction, but is one inhabited by kaiju, the cause of human extinction, that are based of classic movie monsters and 80's-90's monster cartoons.My original kaiju idea that came to mind was that of a colossal, fire breathing, radioactive reptile (primarily based off of godzilla and gorgo). I call him Aquadon. Not only is he one of the strongest kaiju alive, due to his agility and fire breath, but he also possesses a powerful laser vision, powered by radiation he absorbs from sunlight. With gills behind his ears and a powerful tail, he's as deadly in the water as on land.
Most kaiju in this universe are born or hatched on Monster Island, the globally migrated to kaiju mating grounds. Here, the semi-sentient kaiju are at peace, putting creaturely feuds aside for mutual benefit
....is it just me or would this be a great mmorpg? XD

I think Burnside's Zeroth Law holds, even for creature features. There's just not much of an audience surrogate here. (Xenofiction works, but...most successful examples deal with things on an approachable scale.)
While you might be able to do well within certain maniacal fan segments if you're willing to tolerate the influx of (probably undesired) furry fanservice and the swarm of powergamers (also no fun to deal with) you'd attract...it probably doesn't have great odds of catching on. You'd also have to compete with brawlers like CKC, which have the above issues.

wow that's an elaborate response. I just thought it'd be cool to run around a generated world as a kaiju with some friends and fight some monsters
