Description
She's not bad, I just drew her that way. It's everyone's favorite Disney bombshell. Made entirely in Adobe Illustrator.Related content

I love this! Wow!
Thought I'd share the Jessica love, because I've just completed a really fun project!
Because Jessica Rabbit is a cartoon, no one knows her real measurements, so I took measurements based on the Jessica Rabbit Large statue that I have, because it is physical and therefore measurable;
I assumed Jessica to be 6', like a Runway Fashion Model (she's statuesque) and also for ease of comparing her to the famous "Barbie Real Life Measurements".
Based on this scale, her measurements are:
JESSICA RABBIT'S MEASUREMENTS
Body Height: 6'
High Heel: 4.6" Heel
TOTAL HEIGHT: 6' 4 3/5"
BUST: 38N
WAIST: 17
HIPS: 34
CUP SIZE N (31lbs of breast tissue!)
Shoe Size: 1 wmn
Dress Size: 8
RATIOS
Her Legs are 2.64 x's LONGER than her Torso.
That's like your legs going up to your nipples.
Hip Waist Ratio: 0.51
Beyonce is considered super curvy and physically perfect with a .7 H/W Ratio!
Jessica is even crazier!
Oh, and Jessica would weigh 109 pounds when compared against "Barbie's Real Life Measurements". The interesting thing is that 33% of that weight is just from her boobs!

Thank you very much! I have been meaning to do another, but the gradient mesh is such a pain. I am very glad that you like her. She is just an awesome character and fun to work with.

nice work. love the shading on the dress and legs
did you use the mesh tool?
I never can get the hang of that thing...
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
themisskitty In reply to MinorKey [2004-03-17 08:43:57 +0000 UTC]
Thanks. I can't seem to work without the mesh tool. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. For odd shapes (like the torso), it's best to make a circle to use for the mesh and then mask it off. It's real easy once you get the hang of it.

I think this one took about 3 hours. I couldn't leave until I finished it! lol That's really quick for me too. I usually end up having to break projects up over a few days.

Thank you! I want to be her for Halloween this year but I have no idea where I can find a good pattern for the dress. What did you do?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
PeppermintStripe In reply to themisskitty [2004-03-16 16:23:04 +0000 UTC]
In all honesty, I just put the dress together from scratch.
I couldn't find a good pattern anywhere so I just made my own.
Its good to have a dressform, it was a lifesaver!

Ooh, ok. Thanks. I've never relly sewn. I'll make my mom teach me how to use our beastly sewing machine and see what I can do.

It's not as hard as it looks.
If it's for a costume that's not going to get a lot of wear, you can cut corners and hide mistakes a lot easier than if you making something that would get worn on a regular basis.
Have fun with it.
My next project is making a dress entirely out of duct tape

That's true. I'll have to see what I can do then. Thanks.
Good luck with the duct tape dress. Some of those are really awesome.

You're welcome.
I made some duct tape roses that were great. I just need some more colors, burgundy ones are getting old.
