What animals did you base the design on? This is really well done and has become the official way I picture the Greek sea monsters in my head now

A few different ones. Namely Basilosaurus, spinosaurids and oar fish.

I absolutely love this. I think this is one of the best depictions of this monster I've seen. Easily topping pretty much everything I've seen on deviantart so far.

I just realized that this looks like a derived Archaeocete similar to Basilosaurus
