Well, don't you forget that Mario still can break brick blocks with his hands, and not even using fancy Shoryuken Ryu'n'Ken-style, just by jumping and holding his fist up. Also remember the Bowser family's castles he destroyed in Super Mario World... one by dropkicking then stomping it, the other one by freakin' picking it up then kicking it like a soccer ball!
Of course you'd think, after many years of storming the castle, running and jumping through pits, spikes, lava, Munchers, Thwomps, Bullet Bills, gigantic crushers, fire balls, fire bars etc. aaaaand fighting Bowser himself... Mario would be a taaaaad slimmer. But, no, he ain't getting any thinner. Must be all the pasta he sure loves to eat.
