Description
These are some of the designs for Miles, a main character in a set of short stories 'Tailbone' that I am writing. To explain a little about the back story, it's set 100 years after hybrids (half man, half animal creatures) were first introduced into society after their illegal creation was exposed by the government. Their human DNA meant that they obtained some rights and have since become a part of human culture, though not without its complications. Racism is an obvious problem.
The main division between hybrids is that some are 'Two-legs', i.e. very similar to men, while 'Four-Legs', that is, hybrids that are more like beasts and walk on all fours, are seen as lower forms of humanity, even to their own.

Miles Dormer is a four leg and I came up with many designs for him, which is still an ongoing process. I really want people to imagine what something half beast may look like, so I tried to be broad. This is a collection of the various designs I came up with, and there will be more!

> I was inspired a lot by character, Kubin, who has a dog body and human face. You can see that I played with this idea a little with some of the designs for a four-legged character. Check out her work, its fantastic and has really helped me further this project.
