No way that's gonna happen. Demon Hunters have very sharp senses and cannot even be hit by such a pathetic life form. (of course we're havin the debate of the century here, so I will pass by the fact that I like Archons) They both burn, so after that - only skills remain. And the Demon Hunter is a winner here. ^^

you are calling a combination of two being who are both highly skilled in psionic power pathetic? please note that the orignal 2 dark templar are basically like the ninjas of the protoss. they are hardly slow witted. whilst the dark archon is unable to attack, he would come out on top, if his far superior feedback does not kill the demon hunter then a possession would be in order. the demon hunter would not even have time to retaliate either if the archon were to use maelstrom which would stun him long enough to kill or possess him. soz, dark archon wins.

I don't agree on the win part.
Otherwise - yes, I am quite aware of the abilities of these higher life forms, but still - the Demon Hunter is trained to take out things like them.
No point in arguments.. We probobly shall never know (except if Blizz make WC vs SC game).
Untill then, how about agreeing on the fact that they both kick but?

I guess you have not yet played Warcraft III.
Warcraft III has a hero unit, the Demon Hunter, with the Mana Burn ability that works like the Dark Archon Feedback.
Now:
Mana Burn burns 50/100/150 mana and takes a little life.
Feedback burns all energy in a unit and takes life equal to all enery burned, it can kill a full-energy Science Vessel.

dark archons cant "BURN" anything... but now the put away the twilight archon and brought back the archon - he would burn the new jedi blades zerg queen O.o ... as a swarm player - i am scared
