Description The ACT MPAV (Multi Purpose Armored Vehicle) is a family of armored fighting vehicles produced by the ACT Company (Atelier de Construction de Talles), available in both 6x6 and 8x8 configuration. Compared to LAVs and similar vehicles from other nations, the MPAV is simpler and more affordable without sacrificing mobility or protection.

The MPAV is designed as a main transportation vehicle, capable of carrying eight to ten passengers in addition to its crew of three under combat conditions (including NBC environment). Features STANAG 4569 Level 4 protection and can be enhanced further to resist 20mm and 30mm autocannon fire with select armor packages as well as a shaped floor for increased mine resistance.

The MPAV carries an advanced 40mm autocannon capable of firing 200 rounds per minute and capable of defeating 140mm of RHAe at 1500 meters and tandem-HEAT ATGMs capable of defeating 1000mm of RHAe with a range of 4000 meters

There are five main variants available: APC, command vehicle, ambulance, armored artillery observation post, and ARV.

Weight: 24.5 tonnes
Length: 7.64m
Width: 2.75m
Height: 3.14m
Maximum Speed: 110km/h

Main Armament:
1 x 40mm autocannon
2 x ATGM
1 x .50cal machine gun

The hull itself is an amalgamation of several armored fighting vehicles, especially the Piranha. The turret, however, is based on the one found on Panhard's SPHINX afv. Speaking of the Scorpion Program, I want to make something similar to the Jaguar. So damn pretty.

looks like an extended Guarani hull, reminds me of the VBCI 2 with that huge turret

lol I didn't even know about the Guarani but looking now it looks near identical.

As for the turret, I guess it's because Panhard and Nexter are both french companies. Speaking of Nexter, have you seen their Jaguar EBRC and Griffon VBMR for the Scorpion Program? They look amazing

Oh yeah I love the Scorpion program particularly the Jaguar, though I don't understand the purpose of the Griffon since VBCI does essentially the same thing at the same weight class. Maybe it's a cheaper option for replacing VABs still in service.

Griffon is a cheap multi-purpose vehicle. Nexter claims the thing is very simple and affordable, so it should be cheap and easy to maintain a whole fleet of them compared to the VBCI

Yeah that makes sense, say if you're planning on making a Jaguar analogue maybe you'll like my idea. Essentially you would mix the Jaguar turret with the hull and LIDAR system from the ARCV that BAE just showed off.

Ah yes, the Black Knight. I actually have something similar already, though it's an older one so the quality is not up to par. might want to redo that later
