Description
Full View Please.Eisblumen is German for "Ice flower" simply enough. When i Heard this word for the first time several years ago, the idea for this picture came into my head. After many years of forgetting about it, i finally got motivated and technically able to pull it off.
I encountered lots of problems with putting the frost onto the petals, and making it look real, so i ended up creating actual geometry that i scattered across the surface. All in all there was somewhere around 1.4 million ice particles in this image. This, [link] is an even larger version of this image, if you want an even closer look.
Please Comments and Critisisms are welcomed, Thanks.

Well, I guess I'll probably be the only one that can find anything to use for constructive criticism...
First off, congratulations on it all. To me it doesn't look so much like a real flower, but more like an ornate paper flower. Still, if you submitted that under photography I definitely wouldn't have noticed it wasn't filed correctly and I had to check the classification/your discription to make sure it was fake.
The focal point could probably do with being brought a little closer to the camera, and the depth-of-field ratio decreased... Something to bring more of the front petals into focus (not complete focus) and to still have the bottom of the stem out of focus (but not as much).
...And that's all I can really suggest in ways to improve it. o.o

Yeah, that didnt work out the greatest. with the turning the flower blue, and freexing it. Pretty much everything to it. . .
Thanks.

Well, sure, the flower is realistic, pretty, cold-looking, excellently frosted, wonderfully arranged, and smashingly petaled, but, the stem? Terrible. I give it an F minus minus.
(...Whoa, so THIS is the rose you were talking about ...)

Amazing picture...
I almost feel I can touch it and sense the cold winter within her petals. Looks so fragile, yet, so powerful. So feeble, but so secure.
I adore it!
It's a fav, no doubt about it.
