Wow...the original is HAWT.
After looking at it, the face could use more color, like rosy cheeks. Maybe some more shadows on the nose and under the hair as well. Also, the hair needs some highlights and/or shadows to give it depth.

My only beefs are the eyes and the nostrils...they look a little too strong, especially since the shadows and highlights on the face are very opaque.
Oh, and the b/g. It needs a soft gradient or something.

I really like this picture! I think the only problem in this picture is the left eye... it seems a bit off.
I like the very subtle shading, but feel it would have added a touch if highlights were added =3
...on a side note, I can't vector for peanuts.
