Sorta...more like he used the Harp of Ages to go back in time and alter HER past. As a result...she never became a threat in the first place.

And this is why you NEVER taunt someone with the ability to time travel...they just might muck about your own past as revenge. DEFINITELY don't one fun at his crinkly choice of 'undies'.
