My beautiful Midnight is sitting pretty. This may be one of the best shots I have of him!
I was lucky to get it, he's so finiky.

That makes the best shots, I tell you. My roommate (who was also my roommate in a college program) took this picture of a dog walking in the early morning. After showing said picture to a class everyone said "Do you know how HARD it is to get that sort of lighting? And look, a strand of light even points to the dog!" And my roommate didn't even try for it, just caught it, like you caught your kitty.

That it does! On-the-spot shots really can be the best,
because they're so, "In the moment", if you will. A capture
of life that still has a tinder, flickering bit of life, still
living. It's quite beautiful, if you ask me!
