Description
Inspired by 'Dr. Strangelove', a dark satirical film about nuclear war by Stanley Kubrick. Worth watching alone for the scene that inspired this piece : DFor £40 plus postage it's yours, note me.

Yeah, the yellow outlines were important otherwise the non-black parts of the missile around the checker pattern would've simply been the sky, confusing the image. Thank you.

It has it's areas of mild underspray but nothing that ruins legibility, cheers man.

The gradient took around an hour of respraying areas, realizing there were clear bars of colour when the paint had dried

Great job, and like Subliminal-Hope said, the fade is great!
We do see some underspray on the top of the hat, the middle "fang" of the rocket and the guys left arm, but yellow and black aren't very forgiving for that. (And don't worry, it's not evident, I just noticed it while looking)

Quick question: is the top color of the fade black or some dark purple? Because I can't seem to make it out clearly on my shit ass monitor.

It fades into black from royal red, no blue or purple was used but there is the impression there's a dark purple towards the top, aye. I guess it's because we're conditioned to seeing purple in deep sunsets but if you really consider and look at it, it really is just sparsely sprayed red.

Yeah, I can see how it's red, but the mixed colors are giving a good impression of purple...
I guess that proves your hard work on the fade really blended the colors well.
