That's a good Captain N! I loved that cartoon in the early 90s.
Mighty Max was too mid 90s for my taste. Plus, by that point, I was really too old to be watching cartoons. I never forgot the finale to that show, though.

Mighty Max is pretty hit or miss for a lot of people, but for a heavy metal toy commercial it's actually got a lot of subtlety to it. But it's not for everyone, definitely xD

Mighty Max was just Polly Pocket for boys. They did the same thing during the troll revival of '92-'96. Remember Battle Trolls and Stone Protectors? Ridiculous. It seems like all they did in the 90s was rip-off popular properties. Don't get me wrong, being an early 90s fan, I loved Battletoads (it's a NES staple). There were so many rip-offs like Disney's Gargoyles (this did not belong on Disney Afternoons) and Two Stupid Dogs or Cow and Chicken on Cartoon Network (Ren and Stimpy was classic).
I thought Captain N: The Game Master really stood out as a great Saturday morning cartoon of the Bush 1 era. Of course, I can't look at an episode nowadays and not view Saved By The Bell afterward. Everything NBC blended together more in those days.

Lol no he’s not a Polly pocket for boys, they didn’t do the same thing during the troll of 92-96. Two stupid dogs and cow and chicken aren’t rip offs, they are classics. Max wasn’t too mid 90s and it wasn’t a hit or miss for lots of people. Gargoyles did belong on Disney’s afternoons (kinda). Battle Trolls weren’t ridiculous, they were just weird and stupid. I can look at an episode of Captain N and probably watch saved by the bell. NBC didn’t really blend together more of those, they made great shows.
