Finished watching Dragon Ball Z now watching Dragon Ball.Thought I'd make a cool wallpaper.
3D people try and guess how I made the material for the balls.

Well. I do not use MAX. But to me it looks like a glowing material with a lot of spec and some reflect. There are really quite a few ways to make that material. (in lightwave anyway)

Nope. Haha its a real hack, using something you would never think of to get that glowyness.

Used a refraction IOR of 1.0 and a reflection IOR of 1.6, with an orange fog colour. The effect is because you cant actually see the object itself, only the reflections coming off of the surface.
