Yeah it probably it like the golden gate, I just googled "Bridge" and worked from the thumb...
There's a tip for ya, always use thumbs if you have to use a reference, helps you stay creative even if you need a little help.

No I mean looking at one image zoomed way out in thumbnail form, so you get the basic shape and colours but have to make the details yourself.

WOW...you just 'whipped' this up? I think it is absolutely great 
I did get a slight queezy (sp?) feeling though...which is strange...because it looks like the water is rising up towards the middle of the bridge...giving the illusion that I could get swept up into the water...and my fear of heights/bridges came to. SO...I think that is really good because the 3D illusion is so real.
