Description
The Autocracy Royal Thorn driver is one of the main cruiser class ships in the Empress's royal fleet. With a truly massive amount of weaponry the ship provides top tier defense for the Autocracy’s inner systems, as well as being used in the main defense fleet when called to join full scale Noid battles. Despite being nearly 2kms long, the ship is not one of the larger ships in either the Galaxy or even the fleet. In fact, the ships are considered average in size amongst mainline battleships.

Th silvery finish is an artificial alloy called otthomiunum. With 2 cm equivalent to 2 meters of steel, the material increases armor for less mass. The ships weaponry count includes 12 heavy particle beams on turrets, 90 medium defensive heavy laser ports towards the rear, over 2.6 million minor point defense ports, which contain lasers and torpedo launchers dotting the surface of the ship, and a Spinal mounted Heavy Ion Beam cannon. The ship also carries several hundred repair drones and around 30 ships boats of various sizes, launched from its hangers. Like most combat ships, the gravity is oriented towards thrust direction to allow more gravity budget toward other things. To cool off its many processes, the ship has Curie point radiators. These allow for efficient cooling while not presenting an enticing target as a solid radiator would.

Unlike most combat ships, The Thorn driver has massive open spaces on the inside rather than cramped hallways, almost resembling a palace rather than a warship along with all the amenities one would expect. Because of this, moral tends to be good even on long missions. Especially decorated ship captains occasionally get a digital copy of their brain patterns uploaded into an AI on the ship, increasing combat effectiveness for the next captain.
