Description
What happens when you combine a love of Minecraft with a love of Fire Emblem? Usually sprites. But I'm a special kind of crazy! I recreated an entire level! This is a replica of Path of Radiance's final level map: Repatriation! Come and see Castle Crimea as you wrestle it away from Mad King Ashnard and the remnants of the Daein army! The castle itself is still a work in progress, but the courtyard is freaking awesome! Special thanks to Ladyfirefly [link] for helping out.
Fun fact: most of the stone and dirt used in making this courtyard was taken from the blocks above Lagann [link] Not too hard to believe, is it?

I'm... pretty much speechless right now. This is downright incredible. A friend told me about this, and I figured it'd be somebody's creative mode project. But nope, there's hearts and drumsticks staring me in the face! It must've taken you a long time to get all that stone... hmm. What are the blackish parts that line the top of the walls and such made of? ...And how are you flying? o.o

Okay so here's the deal: This was done on adventure mode, but my server does have a few cheats in place. Mainly right clicking with a feather allows you to fly, hover, then drop for no fall damage. I couldn't give myself infinite tools or blocks or anything like that. The grey and dark blocks are made by colored wool that was placed by Ladyfirefly [link] who could give herself items through codes. As for getting all the stone... See this guy? [link] The sprite is 10 blocks below sea level. See all that dirt and stone that's above the sprite and inside that square boarder? That's now Crimea. Never underestimate the power of someone with a lot of time on their hands and NOTHING better to do!

Even if you'd have done this in creative mode, man, I'd still be really impressed. ...Actually, all of that sounds really cool. xD Flying~ I once made a decent-sized castle, it's 30x40, I think, and I had to cut out a nice-sized hill for it too. @_@ Yay for having a lot of time~

Impressive. Can you tell me the measurements of the field?

I'm not really sure. I just made it that one space on a Fire Emblem map was a 3x3 block space on Minecraft. So pretty much just take the measurements of the Repatriation map from Path of Radiance and multiply it by 3.

Must have taken up a lot of space and patience when making the waterways.

Hey! You're alive!!! It took me about a month. Most of that time was spent making a flat surface. You know: leveling mountains, filling in oceans... After that, I had so much materials lying around, the rest was easy! This is why you should give minecraft a try.
