Description

A piece from July, this image was begun with traditional media inking. I used concentrated black watercolor as the "ink." It only works because I was planning to make it a digital piece all along - trying to paint over these lines in physical watercolor would make them run, a lot!

I've done several paintings between finishing this and posting it, I wasn't sure I wanted to share it because stylistically the rendering is a bit outside the direction I want to go in. But, I'm also trying to be less conservative with the art I share again.
