I like this outfit but I don't see it as an outfit for battle. But I would love to see her wear it in the actual series as casual wear

I especially liked this one. I heard the actor who voices her actually took a personal liking to this one. Oh and the glasses were a nice touch.

The reason Monty gave for not picking this design wasn't that it would be difficult to animate - he said he really liked it, but for "an on the town" design rather than her battle uniform. It was the designs with the bows that had long tails that would require more extraΒ time to rig and animate than he was willing to commit to.

Okay. The first thing that popped into my mind is that Velvet with those clothes and glasses reminded me of a Female-Faunus RWBY Version of Gordon Freeman for some strange reason.Β I don't know why, but that was what I thought. Besides I was half-expectingΒ her to have a crowbar with her. HoweverΒ itΒ does look impressive.Β

I don't know if it stands a chance in the competition, but I just love Velvet's grin. Slightly nervous as if she doesn't really like being photographed for her school ID like that!
