Cehehe is what locals call an animal they have been reporting from a region located on the Indonesia island of Java. Strangely all the areas that the word Cehehe is used is pretty isolated to the forested valley that is encircled by the Arca mountains.
The Cehehe the creature themselves are described as bovid in general body type usally compared to the likes of goats or sheep. The feature that stands out on Cehehe is their head and face which is described as rather Feline in appearance
The name Cehehe is derived from the sound made by the reported animals who are said to make a long eerie sound not unlike a kind of laughter.
As recent as 2014 a research expedition was taken to try to recover evidence/proof of the Cehehe. The team looking for the mystery creature recorded a sheep-like bleating sound several times but never found the source of the sound

My take on the Cehehe is that of a species of bovid specifically a sheep that has evolved a more meat heavy diets. My Cehehes are sheep or goat size with a sour yellowish coloration to their coat , Their fur is not one solid color instead it is more like the splotchy pattern of a calico cat, only its in varying shades of a yellow to a cream color. My version of Cehehes have long adjustable ears and possesses a truly Feline like face with a rounded jaw lined with strong pointed teeth. My Cehehe are Sheep but the reason for them having a more carnivorous head structure is the result of a abundance of carrion(mostly ground fowl plus actuality a lot of other Cehehe corpses). Do too a broadening of their diet to include carrion , eating as much as 65% of their daily caloric intake of carrion. One reason leading to the surplus of dead animals in the fictional region on Tera Prime(my future earth) is two fold a lack of large predatory animals plus lush foliage conditions in the valley my Cehehe are native.

The Drawing I did here for version of a Cehehe is of note. Because first off I said in a previous cryptid post that I wasn't a big fan of how the coloring technique turned out from all drawings in what I call Cryptid book #2.5 and that was and still is true. At a point I realized the colored pens I were using were not the best choice and was experimenting with other types of coloring my drawings. This one was not at the end of the period of experimenting with the coloring technique.
The Spore version of my Cehehe is a little odd looking and quite different in overall appearance than my drawing of the Cehehe. I would look to my drawings appearance over the appearance of my spore creation for a closer image of my head cannon of my Cehehe.
At time of writing I have planted the seeds of the idea of making some more custom MTG card this time their based on Fallout New Vegas.
