I have spent way too much money on Warhammer over the years, and had plans for a Tomb Kings army when Games Workshop killed it. Its a pity. Great phalanxes of skeletons in bronze armour with bronze spears and tower shields in sharp bright colours, rows of mummies clad likewise, chariots, great bone and brass statues. An undead faction without gothic elements for once, representing more what they once were in life than some cosmic evil. It was brilliant.
As is this art piece, it captures the feelings I wanted perfectly.

Would you, or perhaps your friend, by any chance be interested in donating this art piece to the Ninth Age? Just mentioning, since T9A as WHFB's spiritual successor opens a gate for former Warhammer fanart to become official T9A art, as long as the iconography doesn't intrude wholesale on Warhammer. Which it doesn't, in your above splendid painting (perfect mood and composition for Undead!).
