Description
Okay, this cake marks my first attempt at using fondant. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.The frogs and butterflies were made from gum paste, the flowers with buttercream, and the border with royal icing. The only non-edible part of the cake were the wires used to support the butterflies.

Thank you. I actually had a couple of my nieces and nephews ask me if it was a real cake. One of them even said, "Oh! That's real? I was just going to touch it!" (Which is why I usually run around yelling, "Don't touch the cake!")
Happy birthday to your brother!
