hahaha, we have high school as well. A bit different though.
First we have primary school: 8 years from age from 4-12
From there you go to secondary school, in different levels. This lasts for 4 to 6 years, depending on the level. From there you can go into different directions, including high School (you become a Barrister) or university (you become a doctor).
I trained to become a teacher but when I finished my studies and went to teach I decided not to do it. Then I did various other stuff and now I am a sales manager. Have been that for nearly 15 years now, working for different companies from Denmark, Finland, Italy and Germany.
I started my own agency 3 years ago (FBR Agencies) and now I do the sales for a Danish company selling recliner chair on the Dutch market. Next to that I help people that have problems, mostly children.

I trained to be a teacher in the languages Dutch and English.
Being a sales manager is hard for me cause I will always be honest and not put any pressure on people or tell bad things about competitors. That is not in me, but that means that I often loose a deal because others do lie and cheat (they call that politics...)
I help different kids with different problems, mostly their problems are about their home situation causing them to loose faith in themselves. I learn them to turn things around, to believe in their heart and become aware that the so-called grown-ups make big mistakes and are often wrong themselves.
Then I help children that are special, that see or feel things that most people do not see. I learn them to accept and handle their gifts as it is a treasure they received which they will need later. Often these children are scared because they are not understood and they have no one to talk to. I understand them perfectly...and their fears. So they have a place to come to and just talk about what they see and feel.

Yes, adults can be wrong someimes too, but some think they are always right and don't listen to thier kids. So it would be nice for the kids to go somewhere where someone will listen to them help them through problems in life.
Yeah, children like that are very special and shouldn't be afraid to use their gifts. Some People treat them as if they are different from everyone else and make them feel they don't belong anywhere... (well everyone is different, but you know what I mean^^) ... making it hard for them to talk to others. By the sounds of things you love children and like spending time with them, helping them through life
