Hi Ly,

I think it took about 10 hours to make this one
It is pencils 2H-B-2B-4B on regular printing paper
I use the tortillon a lot for fading
Kneaded and a sharp pointed eraser
Cotton balls and tissues to soften up

Did you notice that the force of the drawing is focus on the eyes...I love it when eyes speak in my drawings

Your own style: I think it comes from 2 sides working together.

1 is learning/exercise technique and I learned all of it here on DA by talking to other artists and examining their works.
2 is working from the instead of the mind. When I work on a drawing I block my mind, I do not think about what I am doing but just do it. This needs to grow.

I made my first drawing les than 2 years ago and it took me less than a year to really get into the flow of drawing. So, keep it coll and just go with the flow of your and find good works to study, look at tutorials on DA etc. It is easier than you THINK

Just put your heart into your drawing...love your subject!...when you try that you will find that you are no longer THINKING about drawing...you just go with the flow

Ook bedankt voor jouw watch
Heb al twee weken niet meer getekend...het wordt weer tijd! hahaha
Ik heb ongeveer een jaar geleden mijn eerste tekening gemaakt...altijd willen tekenen maar het lukte gewoon niet...op school had ik tekenen als examenvak maar moest daar volgens de richtlijnen werken en dat lukte niet zoals ik dat graag wilde...
Een jaar geleden zag ik Rajacenna [link] bij Carlo en Irene met een tekening van Justin Bieber en toen dacht ik ´dat kan ik ook´...ben diezelfde avond begonnen met tekenen en heb via DA heel veel geleerd over materialen en techniek, maar vooral om vanuit mijn hart te werken en niet vanuit mijn hoofd...DA heeft dus een hoge bijdrage geleverd aan mijn plezier in het tekenwerk en ik ontmoet telkens weer verrassende mensen met het hart op de juiste plaats! mooi man!!! hahaha groetjes

Ja je zou echt weer wat moeten maken.Ze zijn heel mooi.
Ik had ook tekenen als examen vak.
Was er best wel goed in.Nu wil ik niet anders dan foto manipulatie.
Ik heb hier op DA ook een hele hoop geleerd.
Zo veel mooie "art"hier.
En inderdaad.Je ontmoet hier heel veel speciale en bezondere mensen.
