"Theres nothing I love more then sitting in the warm sand, letting the soft grains tickle my feet as my hair gets swept away by the sea-wind. I've always wondered what it would be like to live underwater, to hear the sounds of the ocean all year long. I've always dreamed of living by the sea. Having a small cottage on a dainty little hill, a white picked fence enclosing my gardens <3 Little ones running around in the soft grass, chasing butterflies....
Hmm, time to wake up. Too bad..."

The vision of this image and the way it works with the title are very good, great job tying it all together. I can easily imagine you as a siren in this image.
The idea has been seen before, but your take on it definitely makes it your own. Your pose & expression nail it, really making this yours.
The sharpness I detail in your hair, the shell & the portion of your face closest to the camera is very good. I wish your DoF wasn't quite so shallow though. The way you've used your hair to frame yourself as well as the crop are very well done. I wish a tiny bit more colour came through in the overlay, but that's a personal preference.

I love this because you made it look so true to natural skin texture. The pores are hinted, the freckles dance lightly across your cheeks & nose. I also like that you made your eyes & hair appear close to ember. Your expression makes me think of Amy going, "Oooooooh" to something she founds exciting or stunning. Pretty touches. =]

I posted something about color on another photo of mine, when in reality, I thought we were speaking of THIS photo -_-;; The color in the photo is what makes me fall in love with it. This was a complete experiment. I just opened it up in photoshop and let my mind take me places. I ended up with a kind of red hair that reminds me a little of Ariel <3 I liked how my mind naturally took me to a place I was comfortable with...

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! <3 the ocean has always been something that I could relate to cause im originally from Newfoundland and have been brought up with it for most of my life, but its certainly where i'd want to live eventually.

Aw thanks so much Jo! I would love a critique ^^ I've been using overlay lately to sharpen my stuff, and I loves it <33 I dont usually use this kind of coloring, but I just fell in love with in when trying it out in photoshop. Glad you enjoyed it!
